We will also visit beautiful Osaka, take a ride on the famous ‘Bullet Train’ and spend some time at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial. DAY 1/2: (Thurs – Fri) Inflight Meal – Arrive – Narita
Upon arrival at Narita Airport / Haneda Airport you will be met by your tour manager and transferred to your hotel. You will have the rest of the day at your own pace.

DAY 3: Breakfast/Lunch (Saturday) Tokyo, Imperial Palace, Asakusa Kannon, Nakamisen & Ginza
After breakfast, you will travel to the beautiful capital city of Tokyo for a city tour. Your tour will include a visit to the Tokyo Tower. This iconic structure was first opened in 1958 and stands at 333 metres high. And then you will also visit the Imperial Palace, otherwise known as Edo Castle. After lunch, you will visit the beautiful Rainbow Bridge, located in Tokyo Bay. You will then head to Asakusa Kannon Temple, also known as Sensoji Temple. The structure is a Buddhist temple built in the 7th century and is the oldest temple in all of Japan. Your next stop will be at the famous Nakamisen shopping street where traditional Japanese food, souvenirs and novelty items can be purchased. Afterwards, you will be escorted to the famous shopping district of Ginza.

DAY 4: Breakfast/Lunch (Sunday) Fuji Visitor Center, Oshino-Hakkai
This morning will begin your trip to the Fuji Visitor Centre. It is located at the entrance of Mt. Fuji and at the edge of the Mt. Fuji lava flow called “Kemmarubi”. You can see the history of eruption, nature and the culture of Mt. Fuji. There is also a special viewing platform designed for guests to look out at Mount Fuji. You will then tour on to Oshino Hakkai, which is a touristy set of eight ponds in Oshino. The ponds are quite deep and have interesting freshwater plant life and large fish that make a visit to the ponds almost like visiting an aquarium. If time permits, you will continue on to the Green Tea Field at Maki No Hara. Afterwards, you will be transferred to Toyohashi city and check in to your hotel for the evening.

DAY 5: Breakfast (Monday) Toyohashi, Kyoto, Kiyomizu Temple.
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you will continue on to Kyoto, a city renowned for its romance and traditional and new architecture and cultural life. The city was
the country’s capital for almost 300 years. On your tour today you will visit the famous Kiyomizu Temple which was first constructed in the 7th century and rebuilt in 1633. On the journey to the temple, you will walk through a beautiful shopping district where you can purchase souvenirs, Kyoto ceramics, Japanese Mochi and snacks. You may enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure or choose to visit the nearby Hanakomachi.

DAY 6: Day 6 – Optional Tour (8000 Yen): Breakfast/Lunch (Tuesday) Kyoto
Today, following breakfast, you are free to explore the city at your own pace or join the optional city tour. During the optional tour you will visit Nijo Castle, the Golden Pavillion, Arashiyama Bamboo Forrest and enjoy a traditional kimono show at the Nishijin Textile Gallery. In the evening you will conclude the optional tour with a visit to the Nishiki Market, famous for its unique Japanese cuisine. Lunch will be provided during the optional tour

DAY 7: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner (Wednesday) Kyoto, Nara, Osaka
Following breakfast, you will proceed to the city of Nara, which was the first capital of Japan. Your first stop will be to the Todaiji Temple which is home to the great bronze Buddha. The statue is the largest Buddha statue in the world and the surrounds are full of over 1,000 holy deer. You will also visit the beautiful Kasuga Taisha shrine. After lunch, you will continue on to Osaka Castle and the Dotobori area. Dinner will be enjoyed at a local restaurant before you return to your hotel for the evening.

DAY 8: Breakfast (Thursday) Oaska, Kobe, Hiroshima
In the morning you will be toured to Kobe to visit a China town. And then you will be transferred to Hiroshima through Bullet Train. Afterwards, you will return to the hotel to take a rest for the next day’s itinerary.

DAY 9: Breakfast (Friday) Hiroshima – Miyajima Island, Hiroshima Peace Memorial
Today you will visit Miyajima Island, which is one of the most scenic spots in Japan. It has long been regarded as an Island of Gods on the beautiful Seto Inland Sea. It is a romantic and historical island where Itsukushima Shrine, a World Heritage site, is located, along with the Virgin Forest of Mt. Misen, and numerous preserved shrines,
temples and historical monuments. You will also visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial commonly which is well known as the Atomic Bomb Dome. This “Negative cultural heritage” representing Hiroshima, the first city to fall victim to nuclear bombing is registered as a world heritage site as a symbol of prayer for permanent world peace and the elimination of all nuclear weapons.

DAY 10: Breakfast/Dinner (Saturday) Hiroshima – Okayama, Osaka
After breakfast, you will visit Okayama Korakuen – It is one of the three most beautiful gardens in Japan, a sterling example of the precepts of Japanese garden design and a cultural heritage site for the world to treasure. It is also one of the few Daimyo gardens in the provinces where historical change can be observed. Later, you will return to the hotel in Osaka for a rest evening.

DAY 11: Breakfast (Sunday/Monday) Osaka departure
Enjoy a half day’s leisure at your own peace. You may go to the shopping mall to get some souvenirs or take a stroll nearby. In the afternoon you will be transferred to Osaka Kansai International Airport for your flight home. We hope you enjoyed your journey to Japan with us!
